Radio Code for Renault Stereo 2.0

Sometimes, when a car is being repaired, the battery needs to be disconnected. Reconnecting the battery will prompt the radio to request a four-digit code for security reasons.

If you have forgotten or misplaced your radio code, you can easily retrieve it using an application that utilizes a precode. Note that the precode can be found on the rear side of your radio.

Here are the steps to find the precode:

• Turn on the radio and simultaneously press buttons 1 and 6. (In certain cases, you may need to remove the radio)
• Take note of the unit precode, which comprises of one letter and three digits. For example: V248, D833, H635
• Enter the precode into the designated app

To input the radio code, you can follow one of the methods below:

1. Using Preset Buttons:
   • Press Button 1 repeatedly until the first digit appears
   • Continue this process for Buttons 2, 3, and 4 to display subsequent digits
   • Hold either preset Button 6 or 5 to save your code (for 10 seconds)
2. With Stalk Control:
   • Switch on the CD radio until "0000" is displayed
   • Use the thumb wheel to set the first digit, then press a button to proceed
   • Repeat this process for each digit until all four are set
   • Hold a button to confirm and save the code
3. Using Remote Control:
   • Press the [ ¬] button and rotate the thumb wheel for the first digit
   • Repeat this step for each subsequent digit
   • Hold the [ ¬] button to store the code (for 10 seconds)
